The Suitcase in Point cabaret ensemble has thrown down an all-original sketch comedy show for the In the Soil Arts Festival since 2011. This year we are excited to be mixing it up, offering a variety of comedic performances from the Suitcase in Point ensemble and special guests!
Rebecca Hardy: Rebecca is a high school drama teacher in Niagara Falls. She’s been performing stand up comedy for about 6 years. She’s the author of ”It’s Dark in Here: A series of monologues and poems” and a trained baby clown from the Conservatory of Creation and Performance. As a mother of 2 teenagers she spends a lot of her time as a taxi, chef, and maid.
Joel van Vliet: Right off the OLG stage after his viral performance on Canada’s Got Talent, Joel van Vliet is taking a break from his “Cheeky Songs (sorry, mom)” tour to make an appearance which is bound to be silly!
Rose City Comedy Collective: Rose City Comedy Collective is a studio, training centre, production company, and breeding ground for all types of comedy. We teach improv classes, host open mics, create online content, and produce a variety of comedy shows.
