About working at Suitcase in Point

Suitcase in Point is a multi-arts organization that produces and presents arts experiences to inspire a healthier, more connected community.
Looking for the extraordinary in the everyday, we are an artist-led charitable organization providing audiences with unique and often satirical perspectives on Canadian life and culture. We grow the arts and artists of Niagara by creating, producing and presenting new artistic work in multiple disciplines, and by nurturing local artists through mentorship, residencies and professional development.
• We support the development of new artistic work that challenges artists, audiences and our community. We dare our community to experience artistic events that live in a realm outside of the “norm”.
• We provide a place for growth and respond to the uniqueness of our artists through presentations, productions, mentorship and professional development programs.
• We engage in processes that nurture equity, diversity and provide space for emerging and professional talent.
• We provide opportunities for professional artists to work in a regional environment.
Suitcase in Point recognizes a richly diverse society in the Niagara Region and beyond; as well as a duty to act in a manner that promotes equity across race, gender identity, sexual orientation, class, creed, age, national origin and physical and mental abilities. All staff, board of directors members, volunteers and contractors must respect and adhere to Suitcase in Point’s Policy to Promote Anti-Racism, Anti-Harassment and Equity.
