kwe’muin at RHIZOMES

wessei (nest)

An immersive installation that invites you to take time to reconnect to self & source, taking place as part of RHIZOMES.

Event Description

Wessei is a love letter to traditional Indigenous wisdom and modern ecology. It is a reminder of the importance of engaging in an intimate relationship with the natural world. The viewer is welcomed inside a nest to be held as they experience a soundscape that tells the story of our beautiful ecosystem, urbanization, climate crisis, and visions for a sustainable future.

It acts as invitation to be present and rediscover the childlike wonder, passion, and curiosity for our Mother Earth. Msit No’kmaq, All my relations.
