Sahar Saeidi

In my to-be play, presently a spoken word poetry piece, I tell a story about earned luck and bypassed risks. About how special it is to feel lonely, about the luck of putting yourself on the line. A story about how lucky I’ve always been, regardless of my split attention and lacking appreciation, and how lucky we all are, even when we’re not.

My piece titled 10 Lucks uses a repetitive core statement of “I-could-have” to reveal just ten instances in my life when things could’ve gone very left.
