Del Stephen is an exploratory artist who creates music that often blends spontaneous composition with a carefully crafted collaging of ambient sound, experimental movement, and poetry. Del Stephen’s vast collection of self-produced albums and constantly evolving live performance projects throughout the past decade not only suggests a certain devotion to a life of creative action and persistent art, but also a desire to continue exploring his ever unfolding relationship with sound, language, and the world around him. He began writing poetry in 2009, following his first year of studies in Applied Linguistics at Brock University.
