Event Description

Coco has been writing songs for many years. She collaborates as a recording and touring musician for bands including Status/non-Status, Carson McHone, and Julie Doiron. Coco's diverse practise extends to libretti and conceptual art, and has co-created with Zoongideewin, Lee Renaldo, Sheilah and Dani ReStack, Luke Hathaway, and others. Her published books include the poetry collections Sorry About The Fire and Radicants.


For the In the Soil performance, Coco will be collaborating with Will Kidman (who has also worked with Constantines, The Weather Station, Steve Gunn, and Julia Jacklin). Will weaves thoughtful and immersive sounds through Coco's lyrics, resulting in revelatory sonic architectures and meaning-laden sonic ingresses, arbors and depths.
