Skye Rogers

i am a settler on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, 

a mosaic of creative ancestry, stitched together by people who chose to see me and nurture my artistry.

with roots in rhythm and grooves, i am a collector of disciplines,

hoping to continue the work of my mentors and be a catalyst for collective meaning-making.

inspired by physical environments, but not limited to their restraints,

i seek to cultivate shared spaces for unearthing our common ground,

no matter who is in the room.

i aim to listen to those who have been silenced, 

and foster spaces for forgiveness.
