About the Workshop:
As part of our Artist Mentorship Program (AMP), Suitcase in Point is pleased to present Artistic Life: Choose Your Own Adventure, with guest artist and facilitator Ali Joy Richardson.
In this workshop, we’ll explore playwriting and how to craft a fulfilling, sustainable life as an artist. As playwrights, we’ll experiment with hands-on techniques for generating new writing and hearing our characters’ voices. Then, we’ll unpack the stories we’ve heard about what an artistic career “should” look like … and reimagine our own.
