Hello there, I am Aria (she/her), lovely to meet you! I am an Indo-Trinidadian creator, dreamer, noisemaker, investigator, collaborator, daughter, and friend. I mess around, I question, I rage, I laugh, I love, and I do it all for my Caribbean community, my community of womxn, my immigrant community. I want my art to invigorate audiences, to create community, to make my communities feel seen, to elicit those good belly laughs, and hopefully make people see past themselves. At the nest, I want to create a multidisciplinary piece that reaches across borders, time, and cultures as I explore the fact that the city of St. Catherines and the capital city of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad are twin cities with invisible threads connecting them at all times.
