The Grand Salto Theatre, led by Zita Nyarady and Myque Franz, creates theatrical adaptations. Inspired by their shared training at Dell’arte International School of Physical Theatre, Zita and Myque weave their background of clown, dance, acrobatics, circus arts and mask into their performances. Their acrobatic comedy characters Philip and Lucinda have performed in festival and events from coast to coast including the 2015 In the Soil Festival. The Grand Salto Theatre recently won the Canadian Association of Fringe Festival lottery and will be performing new work in seven Canadian fringe festivals in summer 2017.
