Administrative Assistant

Dates: June 27 – August 27, 9 weeks, 30 hours/week

  • Book-keeping related tasks
  • Assist with operational and office management tasks
  • Interpersonal and communication skills an asset
  • Provide administrative support to the artistic director and artistic producer, specifically grants, reports, and marketing materials
  • Write, or contribute to publications which accompany arts-related events and activities
  • Able to work in a progressive team environment

Programming and Communications Assistant

Dates: June 20 – August 27, 10 weeks, 30 hours/week

  • Assist with the development of programming for company, including annual productions, performances, multi-arts festival, and student actor training workshops
  • Assist implementation of social media strategy and website updates to promote the activities of the company
  • Assist in archival of last 5 years of activity
  • Seek user groups for performance space
  • Market performances or events through social media, direct mail, advertising, use of a website, producing posters or publicity leaflets and attracting media coverage
  • Graphic design skills and video editing skills an asset
  • Able to work in a progressive team environment

Facility Manager

Dates: June 20 – August 27, 10 weeks, 30 hours/week

  • Experience with lighting and audio equipment required
  • Experience doing inventory an asset
  • Experience with organizing space and sound equipment set up
  • Organized and able to multi-task bookings and paperwork
  • Basic computer skills, MAC specific
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Able to work individually and in a progressive team environment
